Grant Closure Ceremony for the “Strengthening Food and Nutrition Security Programming”
Tilitonse Foundation is in Blantyre today attending a Grant Closure Ceremony for the “Strengthening Food and Nutrition Security Programming” project it has been implementing with the Civil Society Agriculture Network (CISANET) through Weltehungerhilfe (WHH) and with support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
In his remarks, Robert White, the CEO for Tilitonse Foundation encouraged all partners to continue to work together for sustained change.
“I would like to challenge you to focus on some of the partnerships we have had with us, with WHH, CISANET, amongst yourselves [as grant partners]. As much as lives change, our impact revolves around and is affected by the partnerships we have developed [and we can only continue to build on the achievements seen so far if we continue to work together].”
The project has run from December 2021 and sought to strengthen the capacity of 10 civil society organisations and district-based network associations to improve food security and strengthen resilience with a key focus on management, administration and programming. The project officially ends on 31 December 2024.
