Answer For this call, the initial registration requirement for an organization is to be officially registered with NGORA (for local NGOs) or MACRA (for media houses). The secondary registration involves the organization being registered with other relevant regulatory bodies, such as the Registrar General, Youth Council, MACODA, or the Ministry of Justice, depending on the specific nature of the organization’s operations. |

It is not required as part of the submission. The Tool is not mandatory and organisations can use other assessment tools that they have to inform proposal development process. |

Answer The Civil Society Strengthening Fund (CSSF) is open to all local Civil Society Organisations in Malawi including Community Based Organisations as long as they meet the eligibility criteria as specified in the CSSF Application Guidelines.
